Beast Box - An Executive Summary

This blog details the various resources, processes, iterations and references that informed the design and development of the sample manipulation tool Beast Box.

Originally conceived as a process aiming to produce realistic animal vocal sounds from human vocalisations, the project was subsequently redeveloped into a sound design environment allowing greater practical use and usability for a range of different applications.

Alongside this, the project featured a rigorous UI development cycle, executable optimisation and also integrated touch support with TouchOSC, for both mobile and tablet making usability instantaneous and intuitive.

The overall development by features is displayed here;

With the prospect of being further developed, this sound manipulation tool will be made available soon for windows users in 32-bit, running at Version 1.
